How many blind spots are there in total?
Asked a year ago
I am only just starting to learn how to drive, and I just wanted to double-check how many blindspots there are in total?

Typical cars have four blind spots, sometimes two depending on model or size. The two major blind spots are your rear blind spot directly behind your car, and on the right side passenger side of your car. The two minor blind spots include the A strut blind spots - which are the struts of the doors and structure which hold the windows in - and the wing mirror blind spots as your mirrors don't cover the whole of your view.

The main blind spot is the vision directly behind you as you are unable to see without the use of your rear view mirror. It is important to check the blind spots constantly while driving and when making a turn or overtaking another vehicle. The other blind spot is the passenger side, so adjust your mirrors accordingly.

It depends on the car you are using. Blind spot testing in very car is a good way to determine if its good for you to drive. Blind spots while driving can also be tested by simply driving around a bit and checking where you cant see. Checking blind spots during a driving test will also be a part of the test itself.
