What to Bring to Get Your Learner’s Permit
Once you know the PA driver’s manual front to back (and you’ve celebrated your 16th birthday), you’ll be qualified to take your permit test! Along with in-depth knowledge of PA road rules, it’s important to come to your testing appointment with all the required paperwork. The list of what to bring to get your learner’s permit includes:
- Your completed permit application form (note that a section of this needs to be filled out by a physician or another healthcare professional)
- Your completed parent/guardian consent form (not needed if you’re over 18)
- Proof of identity (birth certificate or passport)
- Your social security card
- Payment for your permit test
Once you’ve provided all of these items, one of our friendly team members will escort you to where you’ll take your written knowledge test. To achieve your learner’s permit, you’ll need to answer at least 15 out of 18 questions correctly. This should be no problem, so long as you’ve studied your driver’s manual thoroughly!
